ISRO Assistant, UDC Clerk Admit Cards 2017: The Indian Space Research Organization Centralized Recruitment Board (ICRB) is going to release the Assistant, Upper Division Clerk Written Exam Admit Cards in due course. ISRO has scheduled to conduct the Assistant, UDC Clerk (Category-1-2-3) Written Exam on 15th October 2017 & in prior shall display the Call letter release notification through the website.

The Indian Space Research Organization will conduct OMR Based Written Examination on 15-10-2017 for Selection on 311 Assistants vacant Posts (In various Department of Space and Indian Space Research Organization ISRO) and 2 Posts of Upper Division Clerk in the Department of Space.

The Written Examination for Assistant and UDC Clerk posts comprising Two papers of Objective and Descriptive Tests will be conducted for candidates called for Screening Test on Application Form scrutiny basis.

Initial screening will be conducted to shortlist candidates for taking-up written test. The written test will be conducted on 15.10.2017 [Sunday] at nine venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.

The OMR Based Written Test shall be conducted on 15.10.2017 & in the First week of September the Call letters/ Admit Cards to be issued. Applicants in concerned regard keep in contact from our page.

The call letters for written test to the short-listed candidates will be sent only by e-mail during the first week of October 2017. Based on the performance in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for skill test.

SYLLABUS FOR DIRECT RECRUITMENT TO THE POSTS OF ASSISTANT/UPPER DIVISION CLERK

ISRO Assistant / UDC Examination 2017:

Paper I:

(03 Marks each for the Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions and 10 Marks for the Descriptive Type Test’ s question) 

Part A: General English (Objective Type):  40 Objective Type MCQ

Part B: General Studies (Objective Type): 40 Objective Type MCQ

Descriptive Test comprising: 02 Questions

Precis writing, Comprehension, Report writing, Letter writing, Essay writing

ISRO Assistant/ UDC Exam Cutoff / Skill Test 2017:

Those who secure minimum 50% marks each in both objective and descriptive type questions in the written test will be considered for shortlisting for ‘Skill Test(Computer Literacy Test)’. Skill Test will be purely go-no-go basis and marks obtained in the skill test shall not be considered for selection. The Skill Test shall be evaluated on a 100 points scale with minimum 60% for qualification.

ISRO e-Admit Cards / Hall Examination Ticket:

The Indian Space Research Organization shall not issue the e-Admit Cards through the ISRO Website. The Indian Space Research Organization Recruitment Board will only email (email via Registered Mail) the Call Letters to the Candidates. The Indian Space Research Organization Centralized Recruitment Board shall mail during the First Week of October 2017 the Call Letters to the Candidates through the E-Mail Id furnished by them (while applying through Online Application Forms) for the Optical Markup Reader Based Written Test to only Shortlisted Candidates.

Procedure for Selection: 

The final selection will be based on the Merit amongst qualified candidates, purely on the scores obtained in the Written Test. From amongst candidates who qualify in the skill test with minimum 60% marks, empanelment shall be done in the order of marks obtained in the written test, subject to the number of vacancies notified.

IMPORTANT: The Answer Keys will be published on the ISRO Website within three working days of the written test.
