DU Journalism Course Admission 2017, Online Form/ Entrance Dates:

DU Journalism Admissions 2017-18: The University of Delhi invites the Online Applications for Admissions to the Hindi Journalism & English Journalism (DSJ) Courses on available seats. Delhi University from the Academic Session 2017-18 has started the Integrated Journalism programme in Hindi & English both. Five Years’ Journalism Course (3 Year UG+ 2 Years PG) Course Online Applications can be filled from 23-08-2017 to 08-09-2017 at Online Admission Portal links.

The University of Delhi Journalism Integrated Admissions for the session 2017-18 Online Applications are available upto 8th Sept 2017. Aspirants possessing the Required eligibility may apply for the said Integrated Journalism Course Entrance Test 2017. The Required Journalism Course information is pointed higher.


Bachelor of Journalism/ Master of Journalism

Course Duration: 5 Years (NOTE: Students may leave the course after 3 years & in doing so they will get the Graduate Course’s Degree.)

DU Integrated Journalism Entrance 2017 Application Forms:


The University of Delhi Journalism Course Admissions 2017 Application forms in Online mode can be filled from 23rd August 2017 to 8th September 2017. Online Applications can be filled at the Online portal of DU before the end date.


  • The program for DU Journalism Admission 2017 will have an exit option after three years; in that case, the student will be awarded Degree of Bachelor of Journalism (BJ). –
  • The students completing two years post graduate course will be awarded the Degree of Master of Journalism (MJ). –
  • Courses will be taught separately for English and Hindi Medium students.

Application fee:

  • RS- 500/- for General Category
  • RS- 250/- for SC/ ST

Required Integrated Journalism Course Eligibility:

Students shall be admitted to this course, through a National level written entrance test conducted by the University of Delhi.

Students who secure 50% in Class XII (irrespective of the streams) will be eligible to apply for the entrance test.

DU Journalism Admission 2017 Selection:

The Selection of the Candidates is based on All India Entrance Test (DSJ) 2017. On the basis of Score of the candidates in Entrance Test 2017 merit list will be prepared as per the schedule. The admission will be done completely on the basis of the Entrance Test. Reservation and other exemptions are applicable as per the Delhi University rules.


Examination Scheme There are 28 Core Papers of 100 marks each in which 75 marks are for theory and 25 marks are for internal assessment. The program also has two AECC Papers of 100 marks each in which 75 marks are for theory and 25 marks are for internal assessment. There are two AEEC Papers of 100 marks each in which 75 marks are for theory and 25 marks are for internal assessment.

No of Seats:

No of Seats are 60 each for the Hindi Journalism & English Journalism.

University reserves the rights to revise, amend, or update the number of seats in DSJ without giving any prior notice. Any change so made shall be updated on the UG (entrance based) admission portal.

Note: If there are vacant seats after three years (i.e. the exit point for students, who wish to leave with Degree of Bachelor of Journalism), new students may be allowed to apply for an entrance test for the Post Graduation course – Master of Journalism.
